Nordic Roofing & Sheet Metal Ltd operates the NewTech SSQ II Rollforming System, producing custom architectural metal panels on-site or in-shop, to exact lengths, exactly when your project needs them.
Panel Profiles Available
We produce a full range of architectural metal profiles for roofing and siding applications:
- Snaplock / Prolock Standing Seam (1.5" seam)
- Mechanical Standing Seam (1.5" Clipped and Crimped — traditional system for roofing applications)
- Board & Batten with Integrated Nailstrip (12" coverage standard — no clips required)
- Custom Profiles (Can be adjusted within coil sizing parameters to suit project-specific design and layout requirements)
Project Support Capabilities
On-Site Panel Rollforming
Panels are produced to exact lengths at your location. Factory coating integrity is preserved with minimal field cutting required, which means faster installs, less material waste, zero shipping damage, and a cleaner overall workflow from start to finish.
Complete Flashing Fabrication Packages
We supply pre-bent, project-specific flashing components with consistent detailing across all assemblies—reducing field modification and install time. We now also offer Smart Trims, including two-part J-Trims, for precise, clean finishing at every edge and transition.
Pre-Production Layout Optimization
Before fabrication begins, we review panel layouts to confirm symmetrical start and end conditions, minimize small infill pieces, and improve visual alignment. Panel widths can be adjusted within coil constraints to match your exact design intent.

Materials & Finishes
We source through trusted suppliers, including Cascadia Metals, and offer full SMP and PVDF coating systems with a wide range of architectural colour options. We also supply premium SSAB GreenCoat cladding material for builds requiring high-performance, sustainable finishes.
Coming June 2026 — Double-Sided Black Flatstock
We're adding double-sided black flatstock to our material offering. This means:
- Reduced complexity in folded flashing details
- Lower material usage
- Improved installation efficiency
- Cleaner finished assemblies
